I started having sleep problems back when I was nursing, working nights, and honestly I figured that was just my life now… sixteen years of it. I'd forgotten what it actually felt like to sleep a full night and wake up okay. You stop hoping after a while (you just accept it). My daughter talked me into trying this and I almost didn't because I'd tried so many things over the years and nothing really held. But something about it just works for me. I get real sleep now. I actually feel younger, like my body finally got to rest after all those years of running on empty. I didn't think this was possible for me anymore.
